Algernon Jones

Algernon Jones, 58, passed away on February 11, 2026. He was born July 11, 1967, to Mildred Jones and the late Alfred Grider. He received his education in the Orange County school system in Orlando, FL. 

Algernon will be greatly missed. He was a gentle, humble man with a loving spirit. He loved his family and friends. During the many years of Algernon’s life, he would often fall to his knees anywhere, anytime and pray. God has an angel. 

Algernon was proceeded in death by his grandmother, Alice Jones, his father, Alfred Grider, two uncles, Willie Clarence Jones and Jimmy Lee Jones. 

He leaves to cherish his memories, a loving and devoted mother, Mildred Jones. His three brothers, Marquise McDonald of Lake City, FL; Michael McDonald of Mayo, FL; and Derrick Taylor of Orlando, FL.
