Butler "Red" Hall Obituary

Mr. Butler Antrelle Hall

Affectionately known as “Red”

Born: January 2, 1980 – Departed: September 28, 2025

Butler Antrelle Hall, affectionately known as “Red,” was born on January 2, 1980, to the late Catherine Elaine Perkins-Williams and Butler Hall, Jr. in Gainesville, Florida.

He was educated in the public school system of Live Oak, Florida (Suwannee County) and grew up attending Sweet Hope Missionary Baptist Church with his family.

Red loved and valued family deeply, spending as much time as he could with his siblings. Following the passing of his mother and sister, Rosetta Yolonda “Londa” Sutton, he made it a priority to strengthen and maintain the family bond.

A lover of travel, Red journeyed to many places and enjoyed experiencing the world. He was employed by Ace Gunite, where he worked as a pool contractor, building and installing pools with skill and pride.

Of all his accomplishments, Red’s greatest joy was being a father. He loved and cherished his children dearly, spending as much time with them as he could.

On Sunday, September 28, 2025, Red peacefully departed this life at UF Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Florida, entering into eternal rest. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
