Eric Sherrod McQuay was born on December 5,1977 to Alvin McQuay Sr. and Chiquita Henry in Live Oak Fl.
He attended the Suwannee County Public schools, where he made many friends and became known as 'Bay".
He was baptized at an early age, He loved the Lord and knew the importance of faith and worship, which is why he enjoyed quizzing his nieces on bible facts, and scripture. Eric was a confident person. Most of all confident in his relationship with God.
He spent most of his life in Live Oak Fl. He worked in logging operating Heavy Equipment until his health began to decline.
He also did Land Clearing, Mechanic work, and other odd jobs around the community. Eric was always willing to lend a helping hand. He was humorous, kind, and thoughtful.
Eric had an extraordinary passion for cooking for his family and friends. Often, he made new recipes and insisted his family taste them. He enjoyed working on his
cars, installing music in vehicles, and gardening.
He leaves to cherish his memories; Three sons Javell, Eric Jr and Jaylon McQuay of Live Oak Fl. Two brothers Freddie "Red" Wilson, Orlando Fl, Alvin "Jaws" McQuay Jr, Live Oak Fl
Three sisters; Loving and devoted sister LaNika McQuay Atlanta GA, Kacy McQuay Ross (Trumane) Orange Park Fl. and
Alannah McQuay, Lake City Fl. One sister Angela “Angie Pooh” McQuay preceded him in death.
